About the platform and courses

How does the TM-Educ learning platform work?

TM-Educ is an online educational platform that offers courses in various areas of knowledge. Our system is designed to let you study at your own pace, from anywhere and at any time. Once enrolled in a course, you can access all its lessons, materials, and assessments through our virtual classroom.

The platform uses our exclusive COIH methodology (Comprehend, Observe, Imitate, Do), which has proven highly effective for online learning.

We offer a wide variety of courses in different areas such as:

  • Technology and programming (Excel, HTML, etc.)
  • Personal development
  • Arts and crafts (Nail design, Painting, etc.)
  • Digital marketing
  • Artificial Intelligence

Our course catalog is constantly updated to meet current demands and trends.

We use the COIH methodology, exclusive to TM-Educ, which consists of four fundamental stages:

  • Comprehend: Acquire the fundamental theoretical knowledge.
  • Observe: Watch practical examples and demonstrations by experts.
  • Imitate: Replicate examples and guided practices.
  • Do: Apply what you have learned in your own projects and exercises.

This methodology ensures comprehensive and effective learning in virtual environments.

Yes, all our courses include a digital completion certificate once you have met all course requirements. Our certificates are verifiable through our platform with a unique code, which guarantees their authenticity.

Enrollment and access

The registration process is very simple:

  1. Click the "Classroom" button in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Select the "Sign Up" option.
  3. Complete the form with your personal details and create a password.
  4. Accept the terms and conditions.
  5. Click "Create account".

Once registered, you can explore our catalog and enroll in the courses you want.

Some of our courses offer free sample lessons that let you experience the methodology and content before making a purchase. These courses are marked with the label "Sample lesson available" in their description.

We also periodically offer free webinars and introductory sessions on various topics that you can use to get to know our instructors and their teaching style.

For an optimal experience, we recommend:

  • Stable Internet connection (minimum 2 Mbps).
  • Updated browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).
  • Operating system: Windows 10/11, macOS 10.14 or later, or current Linux distributions.
  • Device with a minimum screen resolution of 1280x720 pixels.
  • Some courses may require specific software, which is indicated in the course description.

Most of our courses are accessible from mobile devices, but for a better experience we recommend using desktop computers or laptops.

If you forgot your password, follow these steps:

  1. On the login page, click "Forgot your password?"
  2. Enter the email address you used to register.
  3. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.
  4. Click the link and create a new password.

If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact our technical support.

Payments and billing

We accept the following payment methods:

Yes, all prices shown on our platform include VAT and any other applicable taxes. The amount you see is the final amount you will pay.

To request an invoice, follow these steps:

  1. During the checkout process, select the "I need an invoice" option.
  2. Complete the required tax details (business name, RUT, address, etc.).
  3. Complete your purchase as usual.

If you have already made the purchase and need an invoice, send an email to info@tmeduc.cl with your tax details and the order number or payment receipt. We will send you the invoice within a maximum of 48 business hours.

Technical support

If you experience technical problems with our platform, we recommend:

  1. Check your Internet connection.
  2. Update or switch browsers.
  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
  4. Try accessing from another device.

If the problem persists, contact us through the technical support form available in your student dashboard or write to soporte@tmeduc.cl with details about the issue, including screenshots if possible.

Our usual response times are:

  • Live chat: Immediate response during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM).
  • Email: Within the next 24 business hours.
  • WhatsApp: Within 4 hours during business hours.

For critical issues that prevent access to the platform or a course, our priority is to resolve them as quickly as possible, generally within the first 4-8 business hours after the report.

Academic progress

Your progress is evaluated in several ways, depending on the course:

  • Tracking of completed lessons
  • Quizzes and assessments within each lesson
  • Practical projects and exercises
  • Participation in forums and collaborative activities (in some courses)

You can view your overall progress in your account dashboard, where you will find a completion percentage for each course you are enrolled in.

Yes, most of our courses include downloadable materials such as:

  • Study guides in PDF format
  • Presentations
  • Exercise sheets
  • Supplementary resources

These materials are available for download in each corresponding lesson. Please note that some audiovisual resources such as videos and certain assessments are only available online.

Remember that all materials are protected by copyright and are for personal use only.

Each course has a specific access period indicated in its description. Generally, our courses have the following timeframes:

  • Short courses: Access for 2-3 months
  • Regular courses: Access for 6 months
  • Advanced courses: Access for 12 months

Some special course versions may have fixed schedules with predetermined start and end dates, which will be clearly indicated in the description.

If you need an extension of the access period, you can request one by contacting us at info@tmeduc.cl. Extensions are subject to approval and may incur an additional cost.

Certificates

To obtain your certificate, you must:

  1. Complete all required lessons in the course.
  2. Pass all required assessments with the minimum grade established (generally 70%).
  3. Finish any final project or assignment if the course requires it.

Once these requirements are met, your certificate will be generated automatically and will be available for download from your student dashboard in the "My Certificates" section.

Our certificates are educational documents that certify the knowledge and skills you acquired in our courses. Features of our certificates:

  • They include a unique verification code that allows anyone to verify their authenticity through our platform.
  • They detail the skills and knowledge acquired during the course.
  • They specify the course duration in study hours.
  • They are endorsed by TM-Educ and TICMEGA S.A.

While our certificates are not official degrees recognized by the Ministry of Education, they are valued in the professional sphere as evidence of continuing education and skill development.

To verify the authenticity of a TM-Educ certificate:

  1. Visit the "Validate Certificates" section on our website.
  2. Enter the verification code shown on the certificate.
  3. The system will display the certificate details, including the student's name, course, issue date, and verification status.

This process allows employers and third parties to easily verify the legitimacy of certificates issued by our platform.

Communication with instructors

Yes, you can communicate with instructors through the following channels:

  • Discussion forums within each course, where you can ask questions specific to the content.
  • The platform's internal messaging system, which lets you send direct messages to your instructors.
  • Live consultation sessions (in courses that include them).

Instructors generally respond within 48 business hours, although this may vary depending on the complexity of the question and the instructor's workload.

To ask questions about course content, we recommend:

  1. Use the forum for the specific lesson: Each lesson has a comments section where you can ask questions related to that particular content.
  2. Be specific in your question: Mention the exact part of the content you do not understand and clearly describe your question.
  3. Review previous questions: Your question may already have been answered for another student.

For more complex or personalized questions, you can use the internal messaging system to contact the instructor directly.

Some of our courses include tutoring sessions as part of the package. These tutoring sessions can be:

  • Group sessions: Live sessions with the instructor and other students where specific topics are covered and questions are answered.
  • Individual sessions: One-on-one sessions with the instructor to address personalized questions (available in premium courses).
